Review and Recap of the WAC 880 Unified Fall Protection Code

Description:
This 45-minute presentation will provide an orientation of the Washington State 880 Unified Fall Protection Rules and the recent changes to that document that affect fall protection in Washington State.
Program includes a pass out copy of the revised 880 code, changes that were implemented and a review on some of the Key Definitions, Employers Training Requirements, Required Record Keeping & Documentation, Fall Protection Requirements at 4ft of height, Fall Protection Requirements and Options for Specific Industries, Fall Protection System Specifications. 15 minutes will be allotted for Q &A at the end of the presentation.
 Ron Overton
Ron Overton is the Chief Executive Officer and part owner of OVERTON Safety Training, Inc., with over 30 years of expertise in crane, hoisting, and lifting equipment. Since 1999, he has been at the forefront of training and curriculum development, authoring preparatory programs for 11 CCO National Certification exams and creating over 120 customized training modules for industry professionals. A CCO Certified Crane Operator and Accredited Practical Examiner, Ron has also served in leadership roles for various national committees and task forces. His extensive experience includes keynote presentations at national conferences such as CON EXPO and World of Concrete for 14 consecutive years.
